Brief description:

ETH Zurich supports excellent students wishing to pursue a Master’s degree at ETH with two scholarship programmes: the Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP) and the Master Scholarship Programme (MSP).

Scholarship value/inclusions:

The Excellence Scholarship consists of a grant covering living and study expenses (CHF 11,000 per semester) as well as a tuition fee waiver.

The Master Scholarship Programme consists of a partial stipend for living and study expenses (CHF 6,000 per semester) as well as a tuition fee waiver. The department can additionally provide a scholarship of CHF 1,500 – 3,000 per semester or offer an assistantship from the second semester onwards (with a payment of CHF 600 per month).

Eligibility:

The scholarship programmes are open to excellent students both from the ETH and from other universities (national and international) wishing to pursue their Master’s degree at ETH Zurich. The prerequisite is a very good result in their Bachelor’s. Students must belong to the best 10 percent of their Bachelor’s programme.

Application instructions:

Applicants must submit an application form (the same for both programmes), a letter of motivation, a pre-proposal for your Master’s thesis, and letters of recommendation from two professors. Application deadline for the Excellence Scholarship for Master programmes starting in 2015 is 15 December 2014(date of postmark).

NUEVO PROGRAMA DE REVÁLIDA Y HOMOLOGACIÓN EN ABOGACÍA 2015 PARA EJERCER EN U.S.A.

OBJETIVOS DE ESTE PROGRAMA DE REVALIDA ABOGACIA NAFA:

1. Capacitar al abogado(a) extranjero en las reglas del colegio Florida Bar-Corte Suprema (u otros 30 estados), sesión de Derecho Internacional, que le permita al abogado/a extranjero aplicar con la debida propiedad y conocimiento en la práctica del derecho para obtener la Certificación de abogado/a Foreign Legal Consultant y poder ejercer como Abogado/a Consultor en Derecho Extranjero, en el Estado de la Florida (u otro estado).

2. Capacitar al abogado(a) extranjero en las reglas que regulan la práctica de la abogacia en Florida y Louisiana (u otro estado), las cuales permiten al abogado/a extranjero aplicar con la debida propiedad y conocimiento para presentar y solicitar la admisión a la práctica de la abogacía general por el estado de Louisiana u otros 10 estados para la práctica general y/o para la práctica internacional extranjera en Florida u otros 30 estados.

3. Ofrecer conocimientos teórico-prácticos que le permitan al abogado/a extranjero aplicar para una opción alternativa a nivel laboral de acuerdo al área de práctica e interés profesional y a la oferta del mercado laboral jurídico en EE.UU.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
o) Drive Siemens Zero Harm Culture through the management of our Behavior Based Processes.
o) Support, maintain, and manage the Siemens internal EHS Audit Process.
o) Engage internal and external customers through Workshops on Site Meetings, promoting the Zero Harm Culture Globally.
o) Develop and revise current EHS Programs and Procedures to ensure their effectiveness and implementation.
o) Install ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Management Systems on our Turnkey Construction Projects.
o) Provide Compliance and Technical Environmental Health and Safety Support to Siemens ES Team.
o) Support New Project EHS Contractual requests and deliverables though collaborative efforts with Project Team members.
o) Develop and Support EHS Training initiatives provide EHS Training as needed for ES Project Sites, Global Partners, and Back Office.
o) Provide coaching and mentoring of Siemens, Global Partners, and Contractor EHS Personnel.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
o) Bachelors degree.
o) Demonstrated experience in EHS Leadership with 10 years progressive experience leading construction EHS Programs with minimum (2) years developing and managing programs at the Regional / Corporate Level.
o) Hands on Experience with installing, managing, and leading behavior based observational programs.
o) Experience with managing multiple Projects EHS in a global environment.
o) Self-driven and resourceful to drive change; achieve goals independentlyand work well in groups.
o) Attention to detail.
o) Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with global requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects or assignments.
o) Innovation skills, creativity, willingness to share and explore new ideas.
o) Flexibility and willingness for extended International / Americas travel for projects up to 8 weeks.

o) Bi-Lingual English Spanish oral and written communciations.
o) Advance degrees or Certifications:
